Win an advance copy of HELL'S BELLS!

With just over a week before the first events for HELL'S BELLS start, we're giving away an advance copy to one lucky member of the website forum. Make a contribution — leave a comment, start a thread — anywhere on the forum between now and midnight GMT Tuesday 19 April, and your name will be entered into a random drawing for an advance copy of HELL'S BELLS.

One entry per person — though of course you can post as often to the forum as you'd like — and spam doesn't count. Jayne, our lovely forum moderator, will delete any posts she considers inappropriate, and her discretion is final. And no, she is not susceptible to bribes.

Good luck!

During the past few years I have tried to get a children's story I wrote published, but thus far I was not succesful, so I have now put it online at http://uncle-burt.blogspot.com

Please have a look at it, and if you have the time to read it, please come up with either suggestions or comments.

I am living in Dublin.
There is a fabulous illustrator in the USA on standby to start making illustrations for the book, but only if and when we can get it published.

Are you interested in a joint project ?

I am the author, and my name is Burt Vance.
You can contact me at: uncle.burt@yahoo.com

Hi John, I finished your book, The Book of Lost Things, this weekend. I loved it and am dedicating my Monday morning blog post to it (Pacific time here in the U.S). It was such a treat to read so THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it and that a very small bit of good publicity will be coming your way.

best, Johanna

I just discovered you when I read Every Dead Thing. I live and teach English (joke! if you know education and kids) in Thailand and found the book at my used book store. Can't wait to get back and get more of your books. I'm out of the loop here and I'm so happy to discover you.

Could not put the thing down. Dragged it all over Bangkok on the bus rides I take to work, it kept me up later that I wanted. Great read.
